Home installation
Certified installers fit your charger, test it and show you how it works.
How installation works
- 1
Survey
We check your distribution board, the cable route and the parking position.
- 2
Quote
A fixed quote lists the charger, cable length, protection and labor.
- 3
Install
Our installers mount the charger and run the cable. Most homes take a day.
- 4
Test
We test protection, earth continuity and every charging function.
- 5
Handover
You get a demonstration, your documents and the app set up.
What affects the price
-
Cable length
The distance from your distribution board to the charger is the biggest variable.
-
Supply upgrades
Some homes need a new protection device or board upgrade. We tell you before you commit.
-
Building approvals
Apartments and compounds often need management or utility approval. We prepare the paperwork.
Installation questions
How long does it take to charge my car at home?
Divide your battery size by the charger power and add about 10 percent for losses. A 60 kWh battery on a 7.4 kW charger takes around 8 hours to charge from empty. On 11 kW it takes around 6 hours, if your car accepts 11 kW.
Can I install a charger in an apartment?
Often yes. You will need permission from your building management and a dedicated parking space with access to a power supply. We can survey the space and prepare the documents your management company asks for.
Do I need a three-phase supply?
No. A single-phase supply supports a 7.4 kW charger, which suits most households. Three-phase allows 11 or 22 kW. Your electrician can confirm what your home has.
What does installation include?
A site survey, the wallbox, cabling from your distribution board, a dedicated protection device, commissioning and a short handover so you know how to use it. Extra cable length or civil work is quoted separately.
