Software questions
What is the difference between AC and DC charging?
AC chargers send power to the car, which converts it to DC in its on-board charger. DC chargers do the conversion themselves, so they can deliver much more power. AC suits long stays, DC suits short ones.
Which connectors do your chargers use?
Our AC chargers use the Type 2 connector, and our DC chargers use CCS2. Both are the standard in the UAE and Egypt for most current electric cars.
What is OCPP?
OCPP is an open protocol that chargers use to talk to management software. It means you can change software providers without replacing hardware.
